Reset a Router or 3-in-1 to Factory Default

Introduction

Resolution Steps

 

Pace 3-in-1, Arris 3-in-1, E1000, E1200, EA2500, EA2700 and EA2750

  • With the Gateway powered on, press and hold the reset button for at least 30 seconds
     
  • Continue to hold the reset button while you remove the power cord from the back of the Gateway 
     
  • Continue holding the reset button and plug the power cord back in, then release the reset button
     

WRT54G and WGC200

  • Open a  web browser and type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar and hit Enter
     
  • Enter the Username and Password, then click OK
     
    • Username: leave this space blank

    • Password:  admin 
       
  • Go to Administration, then click the Factory Defaults link
     
  • Select Yes on Restore Factory Defaults and click Save Settings
     

BEFCMUH

  • Open a web browser and type http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar and hit Enter
     
  • Enter the Username and Password, then click OK
     
    • Username: leave this space blank

    • Password:  admin 
       
  • Click on Status, then click the Security tab  
     
  • Select Yes for Restore Factory Defaults and click Apply
