Introduction

Pandora is personalized internet radio designed to help you discover new music you'll love and enjoy music you already know

  • Pandora's free version offers 40 hours of ad-supported music per month;  Pandora subscription service also available (credit card required)
     
  • Pandora's music licenses do not allow replaying or rewinding a song for free Pandora services; upgrade to Pandora subscription service to enjoy these features
     
  • Create up to 100 stations at any one time; once the maximum is reached, delete an existing station before adding another one
     
  • If you are experiencing issues with the Pandora app, visit the Pandora website for assistance

Explicit Lyrics

  • Pandora works from the originally released version of every song, regardless of content that may be objectionable to certain listeners
     
  • You can filter songs that contain profanity, as well as ads aimed at a more mature audience, by enabling the explicit-content feature
     
    • Profanity and clearly adult language is filtered; risqué topics or innuendo may still get through

Resolution Steps

Using Pandora

  1. 4 Tuners, 2 Tuners, Single Tuners, and Minis on TiVo Experience 3
     
    • Go to TiVo Central | Apps & OnDemand | Pandora (see steps)

       
    4K 6 Tuners, 6 Tuners , 4K Minis, and Minis on TiVo Experience 4
     
    IPTV
    • Go to TiVo Home | Apps & Games | Pandora (see steps)

      • Install this app from the Google Play store first


  2. Choose I am New to Pandora to get a new account and populate an Activation code
     
    • Note: if you already have an account, choose I Have a Pandora Account to sign in
       
  3. On a computer, go to Pandora and enter the Activation code, then click Activate Now
     
  4. Fill out the Account Creation page completely, then click Create Account Now
     
  5. Select an artist from the drop down list and click Create Station to complete setup
     
  6. Return to the Pandora App on TiVo to get started
     
  7. Go to the gear icon on the right and press Select on the remote to sign out

Thumbs Up / Down for Pandora

  • Press Thumbs Up on a song you like to hear it played more often
     
  • Press Thumbs Down on a song to have it permanently removed
     
    • Using Thumbs Down on an artist twice, bans the artist from your station
       
    • To restore an artist that was accidentally banned, add the artist's name under Add Variety
